today was cca recuitment day, had alot of things to do. i actually planned to start preparations at a later time but once class was over, i became overwhelmed with things to do. firstly, i went to collect the banner and saw the sec3 trackers who are changing their cca as they are overaged and cant compete anymore.
it took a few of us to hang up a banner as most us cant tie the string except yajun, mr khoo and coach. after the banner was up, i went with chester to the gym to put my bag and we decided to go for lunch. it turned out to be a bad idea as the canteen was swarming with people and the queue was super long. hence, we decided to bring a table to a field so as not to return empty handed. once we have returned, i went with rachel to put up the remaining posters.
luckily, we have a great coach and he helped the us set up our stations. that saved a lot of time and trouble.
next was to soften the sand of the long jump pit and it sure is tough. i 'mixed' the sand. in the hot sun, it was tiring and backaching. after quite some hard work, brian came and said that he could jump further!! at least he offered to help instead of just sitting around and laughing.
once the sec1s started coming, it was busy. thankfully everyone was up to it and handled everything smoothly.
thanks everyone.
